Northern Utopia

Hidden away on the archipelago of Svalbard stands the russian mining settlement of pyramiden, which eleven years ago was abandoned by its inhabitants. Surrounded by several coal mines it lies at the foot of the Billefjorden. In this frozen reality of a northern utopia everything remained as it was left. It is remarkably preserved in cold and clear air.
