Alexander Markus Lembke
Alexander Markus Lembke is a professional photographer based in Hamburg, Germany. He works as a constant freelancer in the range of landscape photography, documentation and photo reportage. Specialised in the northern hemisphere he prefers working at temperature below zero.
As an independent photographer he pursues several longterm projects and is involved in different research programmes.
Also Alex worked from 2006 to 2012 as head of the department of photography at Faculty of Media at Bauhaus-University Weimar, Germany. In that time he supervised 120 student per annum within the scope of the regular curriculum. He also has international teaching experience by consistently teaching workshops at several universities abroad.
From October 2013 to September 2017 Alex was a professor of photography at btk Hamburg.
